Life’s Battles!

The battles we all go through seem to us at the moment to be truly “Hard Times”. Many people raise a fist at God and shout, “IF you are a LOVING God WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?!?!” First off, most of what happens to us are results of choices we have made, but not always. Second off, we live in a fallen world that WAS chosen by man when HE chose to follow his OWN path! Third off, people need to “get over themselves”. The universe does NOT revolve around them. We live in a fallen world and bad things happen to people, ALL people.
*God-is-love
God loves us because God IS LOVE. God is patient. God is kind. God does not envy. God does not boast. God is not proud. God does not dishonor others. God is not self-seeking. God is not easily angered. God does not keep records of wrongs for those that trust and follow Christ. God does not rejoice in evil but rejoices in truth. God always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres. God never fails.

In Eden God had given Adam dominion over this world, basically God told Adam here is the earth you are god of THIS world. Adam was a good god and God made Eve Adam’s equal. They were meant to reign equally. The evil one deceived Eve and Adam loved her so he CHOSE to follow her into disobedience causing ALL of creation to fall. If you WANT to learn of the curse go to the Bible Genesis 3: 16-24 and see what man/woman did to themselves. God knew man-kind would choose their OWN path so God already had a plan of redemption ready to restore the relationship between man and God. Jesus, the second Adam, obeyed God. He slapped the taste out of Satan’s mouth and took ruler-ship of creation back.

NOW, the ball is back in OUR court. We can CHOSE to accept Jesus Christ as our salvation or we can, once again CHOSE our OWN path. In scripture a Messiah was prophesied that He would be born of a virgin (Isaiah 7: 13-15), would be hated and rejected by people (Isaiah 53) and would be tortured for OUR sins (Psalms 22). We are told of mans’ unrighteousness (Romans 3: 9-20) and told of HOW we may restore our right relationship with God (Romans 3: 21-31). Finally God tells us WHY our redemption was purchased at the CROSS (John 3: 16). For God so loved the world (everyone) that WHOSOEVER (everybody) who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I am not trying to force anything on anyone. I am trying to pull people from a BURNING BUILDING THAT IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE!!! God keep and preserve you and your family!
