Behind every battle fought in modern times there is a “War Room”. Inside that room the top military minds work through strategies of how to defeat a common enemy. Christians today and through out the ages NEED such a room. A room where you can reach out to God for a covering for the people and situations that you care about. A room to read scripture and put it in your heart that when the enemy comes you can STAND on the WORD of the Lord. When the president sent our troops to battle he didn’t just pull some yokel of the streets shove a rifle into his hands and say go at it boy. We NEED to start “basic-training” in our churches to equip the body of Christ to fight the enemy. Satan is smart because he has convinced the world he doesn’t really exist and all bad things come from the actions of people.
People are the tools Satan/Lucifer/Devil/Prince of the air uses to destroy lives/relationships/jobs/families/marriages because he is so good at tempting as he has done from the beginning. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy so for us to go into battle with a fly swatter against a grizzly bear is foolish. David went against Goliath with a sling and a stone BUT he went with also the spirit of the Living God upon him. True enough he went with all the gifts he had to offer because he had killed the bear and the lion as he tended the sheep but God took his gift (the offering of David) and anointed it and brought the 9 foot tall Goliath to his death.
God and a true prayer warrior can overcome anything man can throw at our world. Our nation HAS TO WAKE UP the enemy has come upon us and we are asleep.
Ephesians 6:11-13New International Version
“11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
